The thread is dependant upon the match up. I see Williams giving ANYONE trouble. To assume he's the bigger threat out of all the names I've mentioned, is a bit far-fetched.

like i said, you can say that now, but back then, mayweather was the underdog going into that fight, and with corralles stopping everyone at 130, there wasnt much evidence that suggested anything else but the latter would happen, it was pretty shocking seeing diego manhandled like that, plus Diego being the local guy, i felt sorry for him at that time. Regardless, like i said, you can say that **** now, but at the time, nobody was saying he was overrated nor were they saying it was a mistake. It doesnt matter what other fighters did, the point is, at that time, that was a seriously dangerous fight for mayweather, period.

The Castillo rematch was also considered a dangerous fight, i think you are being pretty unreasonable.

Williams is a huge threat to anyone, including Margarito. When has Mayweather face that kind of threat to himself? Williams is so physically dominating, Mayweather has never faced someone near the stats of Williams(height, reach disadvantage).

Margarito is not a great fighter but you cant criticize his w/l record, it is not bad for his age.

No I'm not, because I dont selectively underrate Mayweather to prove a point. Mayweather has ATG skills, he can beat almost anyone anytime anywhere.

We are looking at this in hindsight. And in hindsight, Mayweather hasnt really fought anyone as much of a threat as Williams.
