    P4P Lineal Title

So I guess I was dreaming about this last night, because it was in my mind as soon as I woke up.

Anyways, I thought it was kind of weird who it was actually traced through.

Mike Tyson is awarded the vacant P4P title in 1989.

In his first defense in 1990, he loses to James "Buster" Douglas.

In Douglas's next fight, he loses to Evander Holyfield.

Holyfield beats Foreman, Cooper and Holmes in his first few defenses. Then he loses in the FOTY to Rid**** Bowe.

Big Daddy beats Michael Dokes and Jesse Ferguson before giving the title right back to Evander Holyfield.

Holyfield can't keep ahold of the P4P title long, because he drops his next defense of the title to Michael Moorer.

Moorer gets knocked out by the million year old George Foreman.

Foreman successfully defends the P4P crown 3 times, against Axel Schulz, Crawford Grimsley and Lou Savarese, before losing to Shannon "The Cannon" Briggs.

Briggs gets blown out of the water in his next fight against Lennox Lewis.

Lennox Lewis keeps ahold of the P4P title long enough to defend it against, Zeljko Mavrovic, Evander Holyfield (twice, with one of them being a draw), Michael Grant, Francois Botha and David Tua. He finally loses to to Hasim Rahman.

The one hit wonder Rahman immediately gives the title back to Lennox Lewis.

Lewis goes on to defend his title two more times, against Mike Tyson and Vitali Klitschko before retiring in 2003.

In 2003, the vacant title is given to Roy Jones Jr..

Jones wins his first fight with the title after Lewis's last fight against Antonio Tarver, before turning around and getting knocked the **** out by none other than, Antonio Tarver.

Tarver then loses his next fight to Glen Johnson.

Johnson, likewise, loses his next fight to Antonio Tarver.

Tarver beats Roy Jones Jr. again, before being overmatched by Bernard Hopkins.

Hopkins just made his last successful defense against Winky Wright, which leaves him as the current champion.

I'm so glad they don't actually do it this way. Can you imagine if Michael Moorer, Shannon Briggs and Hasim Rahman had all been considered the P4P champion at one point?

He did. So did Chavez. But they wouldn't have if it were a Lineal Title.

He did, the point of this was to see what it was like if the P4P top spot had to lose it in the ring.

Chavez and Whitaker only got up there when Douglas knocked off Tyson.

In this world, Douglas just assumes the spot when Tyson lost to him, instead of it getting delegated to #2.

I think you had a nightmare that Ricky became #1 p4p after beating Floyd and are trying to make examples why it shouldn't happen.
