I hadnt heard this part of the story, that instead of Margarito Floyd fought Sharmba Mitchell, not Baldomir.

Just out of curiosity, this is just a question. I know Floyds not going to fight Margarito, even if offered, for whatever reasons, lol for too many reasons...but anyways, my question.


I don't know that much about Floyd's career...

But has he ever taken a chance the same way Margarito did with Cintron (was reguarded as a P4P puncher in the sport of boxing), Clottey, and Williams (chose to fight him, when he could have ignored him and waited for Cotto.) I'm just curious, has he ever made that much of a step up?

One last question lol, Margarito has been wanting Cotto, almost got Cotto. Might still get Cotto. Now has Floyd even ever called out a fighter that was as brutal as Cotto is in the ring? Not fight, but just "call out."
