hey guys I work for a cable company, Im trying to reach out to the right departments to request the BOXINGNETWORK 24/7 all boxing,
just like we have the NHL network, NFL network, ESPNU, NBAtv,
the BOXINGNETWORK could be in association with the ESPN NETWORKS (ESPN2, ESPN classic)

It's great if this can be done, so that boxing fans can enjoy,

exclusive interviews
live weigh-ins
notes from training camp
press releases/media day
documentaries
the olympics (we hardly see those)

lol im not im just a boxing fan that works for a cable company.....
im going to see if i can get a petition going,
to show the amount of fans interested, obviously for this to happen it has to be by popular demand, I mean it plays a huge role

I belive Showtime is going to do an all boxing channel.

I remember watching i think the Rocky Juarez v. J.M.Marquez fight and somewhere they said that they were going to bring in a boxing channel on there network soly for boxing(or i think that also might include there elitexc fight).


edit: the only reason i never posted about this is because im not/wasn't sure if i was hearing when they said Showtime was going to dedicate a channel to boxing.

Lately they have boxing on like every other day, from new to months old boxing shows its great i think.

Do the research - figure out what kinds of numbers it could bring in terms of eyeballs, and what kinds of numbers that would bring in advertising revenue. Write up a business plan. If the numbers add up then maybe somebody will steal your idea and make it happen. As the late Tip O'Neil said, "It's amazing what you can accomplish so long as you don't care who takes the credit." ;^>

The experience of writing up the biz plan and shopping it around would be a very good learning experience in itself and - who knows - maybe one of the higher ups at your cable company (or over at golden boy) will notice they've got a man with a plan in their midst...

they are working on it, but it's not going to be all boxing.....it's just showbox events you know they are not going to include hbo clips or fights,
who cares about elitex whatever that **** is....i want to be able to see
larry merchant, max kellerman, lewis, kenny, would boxing not just showtime boxing
