You claimed he was #1 but it is Zab that is the champ at 147. I thought you had to be champ to be the ring magazine champ and the # 1 guy.

    here you go lil boy.

WTF does this have to do with Floyd ****ting on the UFC is sales revenue? Also, obviously boxing overall has killed UFC if one fight can generate over half of what UFC could in one entire calender year.

c'monmang' is obviously slow and didn't get the point from the get-go. Margarito was also a top contender around the time I specified, before Mosley, Williams, Cotto, and Floyd came into the picture. He claimed that Margarito "was the #1 welter weight for years, according to the Ring", when the ring has Zab as the champ and he doesn't even post any figures prior to 2005 that would confirm that Margarito had this distinction "for years" anyways..

        What a load of crap.

There is a lot of skill, intelligence, preservation of the individual (wtf? Do you mean defence?) in mma (that's what people who know what the **** they're talking about call UFC) and wrestling.

if you actually read my post you moron you will see that i said he was the #ranked welter by ring under the champ for years...

and if you look at the rankings you'll see that in 2005-2006 he was the #1ranked welter in the world by ring under the champ.

but you are too ******, you cant even read..

British sports is close to nationalism. I guess its because the brits were an empire once and outside of those sporting moments its very difficult for Brits to assert themselves on the world stage these days.

O man what a crap post, Whats all that about! See what happens is you get a fruit cake like yourself coming out with such dribble..Assert ourselfs? I dont really wont to start a slanging match about Brits and the U.S. But yea the U.S do assert themselfs on a world stage, As the bggest Bully's on the planet..And we all know what happens to bully's in the end don't we? The Britsih Empire is now reduced, As the way we built it up was wrong. But the British will never be called a nation of bully's and cowards. Thats M.O

But anywayz back to the fight what ever the outcome its gonna be a great nights entainment hands down!! So just relax yourself, Chill about all the politics, Have a beer and have a smoke and enjoy it.

Neither are they around when they get punch drunk and slurry in speech. In other words this is a sport of warriors.

The art of boxing is not in getting ****** up in a lets see who can bash each others brains and ribs to a pulp. Thats easy. Stronger punch and stamina will win. The art of boxing is in hitting whilst the other guy misses, is in preserving your sanity whilst they lose their cool, is in outpointing the other guy, whether it be by ko or by decision, but certainly not by scrambling your own brain in the process.

British sports is close to nationalism. I guess its because the brits were an empire once and outside of those sporting moments its very difficult for Brits to assert themselves on the world stage these days. This Hatton vs Mayweather fight is being hyped up by the Brits as an us vs them thing. Well them is just Mayweather. Much of America wants to see him beaten too, but only because like Ali he has laid himself on the block of being the best and he certainly isnt your typical All American home body.

I want Mayweather to win because for all his brashness he represents a better future for boxing than the lights out posse that Hatton represents. There is room for every style in boxing but you want icons that other boxers can follow and Floyds professionalism is spot on.

Boxing itself needs to figure out that the main reason the sport is differentiated from UFC and wrestling and the other attempts to go back to roman gladiator days is that brute force is not the primary factor. Skill and intelligence and the preservation of the individual is primary.

Thats not to say Hatton isnt skilled. But in real terms this is a fight for boxings soul. Pity the character of Floyd and all the ****e he has to spout to get people to want to pay to watch him lose is what dominates.
                  1. NEVER compare Mayweather with Ali. there is no comparison to be made.

                  2. "Preservation of the individual is primary" ? If you want self preservation DO NOT BOX. Floyd's numerous health issues as a result of boxing surely point out the dangers that even a fantastically gifted defensive boxer will still face (even if that is a result of impact injuries etc) As Ray Robinson said "I'm in the hurt business" I dont remember him saying "I'm in the self preservation business".

So why are you saying Floyd ducked him and made excuses for not fighting him. He went for the top spot not the #1 contender spot you dumbass. You say I cant read but the question is can you comprehend. He was fighting for the 147 ring championship. Now if Margorito was the ring Magazine Champ he would have fought him but it didnt play out like that. Zab was the champ then got beat by Baldomir and he became the Ring Magazine champ. Magortio is still ranked as the # 1 contender so Floyd wanted a meanigful title instead of the WBO title.
