Margarito by manslaughter, Chavez isn't ready for someone like him yet, when I was saying what I said about a STEP UP in the other threads I meant against a tough journeyman or a inexperienced prospect, someone who wasn't a world champion or was but aren't what they used to be, still have tools to give trouble but for the most part no longer the same kind of threat.. Chavez Jr's people are doing the right thing if his next fight is indeed Gomez, he ain't ready for someone on Tony's level.. I would eat up A LOT of words if the Gomez fight is official.. 100

true but it's a step up for him, his people have been too careful with him to just **** it up now, if they looking at Gomez they must see something thats not entirely evident yet, I think Jr can win this fight and I hope he does, if he does **** correctly we can live threw a bigger, stronger and overall better Chavez era, Jr's heart needs to be tested though so we can see how he responds, Gomez is the perfect opponent for this and will bring out Chavez's inner beast yet still give him EVERY possible chance to KHTFO, he will give Jr a GOOD fight and chance to prove himself and he isn't so skilled that he could just ride by Jr, I think Gomez gets KO'ed here, I like Jr and I think he can beat a lot of guys in given time, he will have given me the step up I want in a fight with Gomez, remains to be seen though.. 100
