Toney seemed uninspired and flat at 160. Outside of coming back late against Nunn, he didn't have too many catchy moments.

I'd always go with Hopkins because conducting yourself professionally both in the ring and while training should count for something.

Nowhere near that level? Watch his fight in Youtube against Glenn Johnson. Looks better than any Toney I've ever seen. I doubt Hopkins has to get a gift against Tiberi and loses to Griffin.

i seen that fight, Hopkins looked great but he still was no where near Toney's level of skill and ability. you should watch Toney fight Iran Barkley. it was a boxing masterpiece by Toney where he showcased, skills, great speed, power, and murderous combinations. and Styles make fights. example, Toney beat Jirov but i think Jirov would beat the hell out of Hopkins. and who is Tiberi?

I would have to go with James Toney..his awkward style and power would beat Hopkins..in a close fight..

Toney got beat by much lesser boxers than the guys Hopkins got beat by(other than in his debut), and didn't show as good all around skills in ANY of his fights. Nowhere near the ability? That is downright ******. A green Hopkins had a good fight with RJJ, a prime Toney got schooled and made to look like an amateur. Toney was never quite on Hop's level if you ask me.

And yeah, Tiberi beat Toney and was robbed, unlike Griffin, who beat him outright. And Thadzi LOL!

I'll go with Hopkins by close Decision in this fight. Both are very smart, skillful fighters but I thought Hopkins was just a little better in his prime.

I'll take Toney to win pretty convincingly

Toney was inconsistent and green @ 160. I'm not sure he wins at 168 either.

                    Hopkins UD 12

Wow! That was a pretty brutal KO. It's funny seeing James that small. Nunn did appear to be out boxing him but his shots were not hard like Toney's were.
