Im a Huge fan of both guys, but at this stage of Wrights career, i think that Pavlik is entirely to much for Wright to handle.

Wrights proved me wrong in the past, and if he does it would be sorta like Taylor-Wright but Pavlik hits harder and presses the action more. So itd be better

Yeah Pavlik can crack...but I think Winkys defense and boxing abilty..especially the jab would win him this fight.

I remeber in the tewelth win winy was moving around and raisng his hands..I looked to my brother and said" winky just won the middleweight belt"..then whatdayaknow.

i thought Wright beat Taylor but it was close. I actually also thought he won the 12th round even, neither guy did much of anything but i thought Wright was more accurate.

winky would win....pavlik needs to hurt you because he is too consistant he nneds YOU to drop down in level......i think winky wins 8 of the first 10 rounds and has some problems at the end when he starts runing out of gas...but deserving a clear ud...

of course pavlik wins by way of robbery...

If anything, he would get robbed because that Taylor fight was a lot closer then the judges had it.

And to boot, Pavlik has only seen 3 decisions in his life, and won all clearly.

And Pavlik is a very smooth and skilled techinician which people STILL dont give him credit for somehow. He was outjabbing Taylor, and Taylor has a SUPERB jab. And he doing a wonderful job boxing with a very elite fighter.

No opponent has ever needed to lower there game for Pavlik to beat them. thats a joke. Taylor had to elevate his game an extraordinary amount, as u saw, and he STILL lost. Explain that.

Pavlik beats you by wearing you down round after round after round and then takes you out when his man is ready to go.

Now Wright has an excellent defense, and an excellent chin in case he slips up and lets in a big shot. But activity is the key to beating Wright, and Pavlik can throw 100 punches a round. He could definetly overcome Wrights jab.

And Wright has no size advantage, which has been key in many of his biggest wins

Pavlik is the new poster boy.....and Winky always gets robbed...

Pavlik is consistent and good technically but come on Taylor has the worst defense for a chmapion in the history of boxing....it doesnt help him to have a good jab if hes getting hit back anyway.....

Pavlik never lets down, his stamina is good so he keeps his stamina while the other fighter gets tired, thats what i meant by Pavlik needing for you to drop down......Winky usually just stays away when he is tired so i dont see much danger once he is tired he wil just move , let pavlik unload some shots and then move again and repeat....losing the rounds but having just enough points in the bag to deserve a decision...

pavlik wont hurt winky that much i think....Pavlik is somewhat one dimensional he always fights at the same gear(not saying its bad its actually very good, i just dopnt see it working that much against winky...)if he cant hurt winky, he will get outboxed while being competitive...


BTW-actually you seem to not have watched taylor fight a lot before because he didnt fight that well against pavlik in fact Taylor has never really fought well....the guy has size, power, speed and explosiveness, but his boxing skill lets a lot to be desired......
