  • (For the 30+ users.) What was your opinion on Tyson when he was coming up?

I mean seeing a kid at 18 knocking out grown men and with the power and hand speed to go. I'm sure some of you guys were around his age with he was doing all of this so what was your true opinion of this guy thats still a teenager coming up,fighting more then 15 times a year and knocking ppl out.

    Just curious to know.

he was a beast and have talent and body that comes only once in a lifetime.

but later he didnt developed his talent better and it went to waste

I think part Cus ****ed him up mentally he helped him to develop the brawl but he lacked in training the brains and mental

Im 21 so that means Tyson won the title the year i was born, however, Tyson is my fav boxer of all-time and i know alot about the dude, ill say this... He was The Greatest Boxer I've ever seen in his PRIME with my own eyes (meaning over TV) so do the math ive seen Ali on TV, Robinson, Foreman,Marcino All of them... Tyson was so dominate i dont care if it was against what HATERZ call NOBODIES, DESPITE THE FACT HE BEAT FORMER CHAMPS AND CHAMPS he was more dominate then anyone, the only guy that was close or equal was Foreman, no-one has ever just KOED motha-****as with ease like those two!~

I agree with this statement 100%.

The worst thing that ever happened to Tyson was becoming rich and famous.

He did not have the discipline of a Hagler, to train really hard while sleeping in silk sheets.

Amazing at the time. Looking back I don't think he could've beaten all the great heavyweights. P4P all time, he is pretty low on my list.

Sadly my first memory of Tyson was me hearing about the Douglas-Tyson fight when my mom was talking about it.

EVERYBODY was convinced that he was the baddest man that had ever lived. If you stopped someone on the street and said, "the kid Tyson against a prime Ali and Frazier at the same time?," anybody would have answered that Tyson knocks them both out in the first round. He was going to rule the world forever.
