1st off I cant believe how many guys on here are crying after all these 24/7 shows. Why do you guys want to see so much sparring? Who the **** wants to see that crap. Its funny how guys call some fights sparring sessions but yet you guys act like you always want to see sparring. Make up your mind, does it matter or not. Also, were all boxing freaks on here. We see fighting all the time non stop. Whats wrong with seeing a guys background and home life for once? The fight itself will be enough boxing for me. Why would anyone give away there secerets and game plan anyway? No one would let you watch that stuff in any sport.
On 24/7 you get to know the real guy, you get to see why they push so hard, and you get to hype the fight. They show has me more hype for the fight on every episode. Oscar was boring but you can tell that both of these guys mean business and there both looking to make a serious statement. There leaving no stone unturned. I heard somone on here saying that he thinks Hatton will kill him now because he's so focused and Floyd is not taking him seriously. Are you watching the same show as me? If Floyd was fighting a guy who was 0-30 he would take him seriously. Do you see the guys training? He may clown at times, he may talk about money, and he may do other things you dont like but you cant lie and say that he doesnt put in the work to get where he's at. The old saying is that its hard to train when your sleeping in a silk robe. Floyd is the exact opposite. The more he wins and the more money he makes, the harder it seems he trains. Last night I thought part 3 was great. I love watching Roger's son box. He looks like he could be a stud one day. I love hearing the jabs that Hatton & Floyd are taking at eachother.
The #1 thing Ive honestly takened from these episodes were Floyd's counterpunching last night. I think he is a fool for showing that. I mean we all know what he's going to do but I still think its different when you see it being done. When Roger through that body shot and Floyd picked it off and then countered I thought that was brilliant. Its also so funny to me watching each of them make fun of how the other guy fights or trains. Thats classic. Again, I think this could be the FOTY canidate but Im scared that the counter punched just changed the fight. I honestly believed that there will be alot of toe to toe action in this fight and Hatton wouldnt hold at all. I think after Hatton saw that he might change a little and go back to holding alot which would be sad. I loved it when Ray Mancini was on FNF and he said that todays fighters have no skill and all they want to do is jump in with a punch and then hold. He said that fighters never held back in the day. Then you watch his old fights and you see classic inside action with no holding. I wish Ricky would do that. If he does then it will be a great fight.
Im actually scared now. Ive had alot of bad luck lately. I live in the Maryland/DC area and everything is going against me. Gilbert Arenas is maybe out for the season after I was so excited about that team, then my favorite football player Sean Taylor gets murdered, and now both teams are average. Ive also been losing mostly all of my ******** bets lately. It just seems like bad things are going to continue and Floyd will get his ass kicked. Hopeuflly thats not the case. I think if there is a blowout then it will be Floyd doing it. Ive always said that I honestly dont think its possible for a righty to hit him with a clean shot. Thats how good his D is. A lefty may hit him with a blind punch but I cant even remember the last time a righty hit him with a good clean shot. It never happeneds. The only way for a righty to beat him is just to be phyically overpowering because he's such a small guy fighting at a high weight. Hatton is definatly bigger and he's a strong guy but I dont know if he is big or strong enough to get the job done. Overall, I think Floyd will win comfortably if there isnt alot of holding. I think he wins 8 or 9 rounds and could knock him out but I do think Hatton could hold and it will change things
