Hopkins clearly doesn't want the fight and is running scared and Joe can make more money over in blitey as was proved by his last fight against Kessler and the insulting offer from Golden Boy Promotions.

Big American fighters are running scared of Joe, they refuse to come over (Except Lacy) for fear of getting whipped then call him out and say he has never fought in America and then offer pittance. Which is their way of saying I'm too scared to fight you. Then they have the cheek to run him down and call him a coward.

Come on America put up some real fighters and real money or shut the hell up.

Its been the mecca of world boxing since the 20s , and its stronger than ever now the big dollar is in ,, the biggest and best fights are held in the states , just the the way it is whether you guys like it or not , no bias from me Im not American , Fenech and Mundine pulled 30 to 40 thou crowds but they still got to prove them selves in the the states , all our best fighters head over if they are real , that why I dont respect Mundine he stays home and shoots his mouth off.

If he isn't going to make more money in America I don't see the point. Joe is 36 now. He is not a young fighter, he has 3 fights left maximum he is entitled to chase the biggest paydays, he thought that was in America but for Joe it might not be. Roy Jones already expressed a willingness to come to Cardiff and surely that would be alot of money on ppv's in the states anyway.

Yes, Generally the biggest fights are in the states but I agree with sparked that in Joe's case it might not well be.

Hopkins called him out and Joe was willing to step up to the plate but he's 36 a deserves one huge payday and if Hopkins or America can't provide it then he is best off staying in Wales or England where he can make just as much if not more.

Im suprised at Joe turning down Hopkins offer..
It must of been real bad but we will never know the truth extent
of it all..

Did Joe bottle out a little?
Did Joe become Greedy?
Or has Hopkins took the piss pricing himself out of it
that way he saves face...
