Chávez Jr vs De la Hoya could be a excelent PPV?

In November 2008 if Chavez beats Baldomir and Gomez i think a fight between Oscar and Chavez Jr would be a big big PPV.

    What do you think?

September in Dodger Stadium. It's got a great story behind the fight. HBO will go crazy for this one. He needs to build his name up some more though, Chavez.

It would be huge, 3 million pay per per views .... but.... Chavez Jr isn't ready.

It would be HUGE in like a year or two but not in 08 because JR isn't ready.

If only Chavez Jr.'s handlers had moved him along a little more rapidly, this fight may have been a real possibility. As it is now, he's not nearly established enough to face De La Hoya, and by the time he is ready for a fight like that, Oscar will most likely be ready to hang up the gloves. I guess it's still a possibility but I wouldn't count on it. Even if the timelines did matchup a little better, this is all dependent on Chavez Jr. continuing to win and look impressive, which is far from gauranteed.

its too soon. Oscar would do Junior worse than he did his father.

Bad idea unless you want to pay money to see Oscar dish out a one sided beating. Not a chance this is a competitive fight. None.
