Max Kellerman made this PBF vd Hitman fight happen...

Let's face it. If Larry Merchant interviewed Hatton after he beat Castillo with a body shot we may not see Hatton vs PBF on Dec 8. Max Kellerman wanted this fight to happen and he did instigate it. Max Kellerman asked the Hitman, "Is there anything you want to say ABOUT Floyd Mayweather or to Floyd Mayweather?" IMO that just opens the floor up for some good old fashion smack talking. And Hitman made comments about Mayweather not having any action in his fights etc. It was the look on Kerrman's face and the tone of his voice and the way he said it. He might as well have said, "Yo Ricky call out that ****y ass Mayweather, c'mon man challenge him to a fight!"

Larry Merchant would not have asked that. He would have sasked him the usual like who he would like to fight next and how easy he beat up Castillo and so on. But Mad Max went straight for the jugular. I give him some props.

You do realise that Hatton is a full thinking adult, right?

Max Kellerman did not have much to do with this fight happening, and at after beating Castillo, Floyd was the best and most logical fight for Ricky to go for, especially since this fight was long before in the air.

        point well taken....

he's the best instigator in boxing....

he might instigate a fight between himself and Lennox Lewis if he tries to act like he knows more than the former HW champ during their boxing commentaries

He did do the same thing with Cotto and Cotto took the "I will face anyone" approach.

Its more of them wanting it. Im sure there were talks before Kellerman of both of them fighting. Made it seem as Hatton and Mayweather are that ****** and need someone to tell them they should fight for millions of dollars.

I love it when these clowns like Kellerman (who never wore a jockstrap in their life) try to act like they know more about boxing than world class trainers like Steward and world class boxers/ex champs like Foreman and Lewis.
