Ken Norton makes Wlad and Lewis look like Chuvalo and I'm surprised nobody brings him up more in "glass chin"(or vunerable to knock outs since people often take the term almost literally) discussions. Badly knocked out four times, 2 of which in the first round. The guy folded very early against anybody with power. Sure Foreman, Shavers, and Cooney were big hitters, but Jose Luis Garcia was 6'4 180 and a heavy underdog when he dropped Norton in the first before putting his lights out in the 8th. A crippled Jerry Quarry also had him in trouble a few times. Norton was hell when he didn't fear your power but he never reacted well against ****ers. Not the worst chin of all time but when people diss Lewis and Wlad, it is odd that people forget Norton who is often regarded as an all time great in many circles.

He took several bombs off both Tyson and Lewis but stayed on his feet, most heavy's would have crumbled.

I agree, Lewis was done and discouraged, Vitali was a man on a mission that night and he was gonna KO Lewis in the 7th round. Lewis was lucky the fight was stopped, his legacy would have been tarnished. Lewis was offered over 20 million dollars to have a rematch with Vitali and he turned it down because he was AFRAID and SCARED, I lost respect for Lewis.
Are you saying that you would have more respect for him if he had taken the rematch and gotten knocked out?I get sick of good fighters staying in the game to long and continuing to fight until they get KTFO devastatingly. It's so rare to see a great fighter retire on top and to recognize that they shouldn't be fighting anymore. I think had he taken the rematch, Vitali would have KO'd Lewis as I'm sure many would agree. I don't criticize him for this. Obviously his Legacy meant a lot to him.
Have you lost repect for Vitali for pulling out of his last few fights at the very last minute? Or for quitting on the stool against Byrd? Because I didn't.

could have, would have, should have.
typical brittley apologist excuse.
lewis was 38, hadn't fought in a year, and not in good shape, and still beat quitali's overrated olympic drug test failing ass.
