Is Vernon Forrest underrated??

Mayorga landed a lucky temple shot in his first fight with Forrest and made career out of it. Forrest was robbed in the second fight, however Forrest should still have 2 losses in his career, Quartey clearly beat Forrest. Forrest will actually will stop Mayorga now, if there is a third fight.

What makes you think he would have any chance at stopping Mayorga? Okay his left was hurt blah blah, but he still had free shots at Mayorga with his right that didnt do a thing. At least when Tito got his shots, you can see they got to Ricardo, with Forrest he just laughed then knocked him down.

i cant believe ike quartey schooled forrest's ass...especially when forrest's looked so good, in fact i just think quartey looked formidable against him blocking and parrying evrything while countering his head off......id like to see a rematch.....i think the quartey victory looks better on Winky's resume now....

He is seriously underrated, if injuries hadn't derailed him he would be on the p4p list as we speak. He is also has the ability to beat the p4p number 1, PBF.

How is he underrated? He's a recognized fighter, he is what he is, a good fighter in a weak division. His skills have diminished because of age and injuries, so he's no longer the type of fighter he used to be. So he beat Baldomir, big deal, anyone can beat Baldomir. If anything he's overrated.

Forrest is overrated as ****, especially in this site. What has he done lately? Looked like **** agaisnt an Ike Quartey who hasn't done anything since losing to Vargas and hasn't fought in a year, and beat a Baldomir that Mayweather shut out. The hate is amazing, people talk **** about Floyd (a guy who started at 130 and has notorious hand problems) for not KOing Baldomir, but Forrest (who is MUCH bigger than Floyd) didn't come CLOSE to doing this either, and he gets nothing but love. People knock Baldomir's 13 KOs, and he LITERALLY made Forrest RUN for a whole round after hitting him clean a couple of times. Getting a gift against Quartey and beating Baldomir after Floyd did does NOT entitle him to fighting Winky, Spinks, Williams, etc. like some people have said.
