Tarver Stops Santiago, Says Lacy is Next

Lacy would beat Tarver.

As for Lacy, I think he is a talented fighter and can once again make some noise in boxing. I think a step up might actually help him accomplish this.

Lacy is still a top fighter. I give Tarver credit to call him out cause that takes some balls. And i can only say it again, Lacy hurt his shoulder against Tsypko and until that he looked verry good and he would have stopped Tsypko if not the injury.

Maybe Lacy is underrated now, but he's got a lot of proving to do to get me to think he is top tier. Kessler, and some other guys won rounds against Calzaghe, Lacy won zero. I give Lacy credit for his victories of Rubin Williams and Robin Reid for sure. Sure, he's courageous as hell, but you know, so is Librardo Andrade- and he like Lacy got dominated by the top guys in the division.

Lacy's got decent power, he's never had a ton of hand speed and gets hit too much period. He's got a good chin and is always a threat so he's got a chance, just got to see for myself if he still has a chance to win a big one, don't know if I would qualify Manfredo as one of the big threats in the division.

See, Tarver wants to fight some top guys. A Tarver vs Lacy fight would be awesome. Tarver would end it with a left hook.

I think the fight would be almost even with a small edge to Tarver based on better boxing but age may give Lacy the win.
