cotto puts pressure but he isn't fast, floyd can play with him a game that called "hit and run" i think he would outpoint cotto if he don't get catched cause if he get catched it is the end of floyd mayweather

Will all the groupies from England claim some type of pyrrhic victory if Hatton takes 3 or 4 rounds from Floyd? Or if Ricky somehow, miraculously sees the final bell.... will that be enough for you?

I'll be happy as long as Hatton can earn the respect of Floyd's fans. Whether thats by KO'ing him or by coming close to winning. I feel Hatton is disrespected as a fighter by a lot of people and he deserves to be recognised as better.

i definately think that ricky is going to make mayweather earn this one. it's hard for me to see a gatti-like ass beating. but if that does end up happening i'll throw up on myself at how good floyd is, but we shall see.

but its really not gonna be like that. i think this is going to be a good fight

i'm still thinking mayweather wins but like i said, ricky won't be a pushover and he's going to try to make it a real blood and guts fight if he can.

                Cotto is BETTER than "fast".

Did you consider Duran or Chavez as particularly fast? No. but , somehow, they ended up as top 20 ATGs.

They have something which is FAR superior than just "fast": They were also good boxers. So they can apply pressure, or take a step back and box you. They have excellent timing. They throw straight, or crisp punches. That is versatility.

Miguel Cotto is NOT on their level. I'm not implying that. But Miguel proved vs Shane that he is also a very good boxer.

Cotto is a better fighter than Hatton, and Migs is a legitimate threat to FMJ.

Is mayweather the one who is being underestimated?

All this talk of him taking hatton lightly (when they havent even seen mayweather train)

Talk of Leonard vs duran 1

And Hatton has been convincing people who have been watching 24/7 that he cant lose.

Quite a few people are now picking hatton, which is interesting,

I think he has a chance, but every boxer has a chance in any fight.
Here is my question about hatton: what have you learned about him in the past two and a half years that you didn't know the day after he beat Tszyu?

If 24/7 influences you based on 26 minutes of scripted drama, then you haven't been a dedicated boxing fan.

I dont think ive ever seen him that fast on the pads ever, some guy on you tube was saying the same thing, his handspeed was unreal.
I don't want to sound critical of Mayweather because he is exceptionally fast on the pads but it sometimes looks as though the pads are being thrown to the gloves as opposed to the other way round.

                      You're right. They are.

It is reflex / parry work. They use the pad's differently than , for example, Roach/Pac.
