Yea from what ive read and his record, looks like he has a reasonable shot. But Donaire is very good in every aspect of the game, so i think he'll still win, but i expect it to be tough

ive seen maldonado vs mijares....i thought mijares won pretty easy but maldonado was supposed to be teh **** back then so they gave him a draw....and then i see he got spanked by vic...i dont htink he has much of ashot if he lost to vic the clown..

Even if you dont think Vic is good, if you dont have counterpunching skills, then VIc is always gonna win.

        He's relentless and hits HARD.

I dont think anyone should judge Donaire off of that fight because Darchinyan was always going to lose to a bigger fighter who can take his punch and counter punch.

Although Donaire has stopped only 11 opponents in his 20-something wins, he has dropped a lot more. There's even talk that he dropped every single one of those he has faced, except the fighter who beat him by points early in his career ( dunno if that's true).

In any case, Donaire's power is often underated because of his stoppage percentage. But the kid has TNT in his fists.

Maldonado has only been stopped once (Darchinyan), so my curiousity is piqued: Can Donaire stop Maldonado too?
