I don't think many people care for the divisions. How many people care about Light Heavy unless Hopkins, Jones, Tarver, Johnson or Dawson are fighting each other? Same with the top talent at 154. There isn't a lot of interest in those divisions because the top guys just don't fight each other.

Still big names fighting.. and I almost let it get away.

Luckily, I realized that it's the first Saturday of the month and SHO has to have a fight night, so I looked.

forrest has been fighting goooood. piccirillo will be harder to hit than baldimir.
will be interesting to see how good vernon wins.
does tarver have anything left? even if not he should be able to get by santiago in a boring one.
donaire is going to have his hands full. this isnt going to be a set up fight like forrests and tarvers. maldonado fought to a draw against christian mijares and is a switch hitter. this is the one to keep an eye on imo.

If these two fighters can have good showings then they may draw interest in future fights.

actually, that Mexican-filled PPV that no one is buying sounds guarenteed to be very exciting.
Arce is always fun to watch, and Singsurat actually has a win over Pacquiao.
JCC jr is fun to watch to me so far, and he may be taking a huge step up in class this time.
Calderon is as skilled as they come.

The Showtime one is pretty nice too really, not amazing fights or anything but it features some pretty experienced and good fighters.

the reason theyre not getting a lot of hype is that when it gets down to it, these fights wont effect rankings all that much or anything. not to mention everyone is ridiculously obsessed with Mayweather vs. Hatton.
But I think there will be very good fights tonight, theyll be fun to watch.

There Sopcasts for Tarver card? Same with the JCC jr card?

I'd only watch Calderon on the other PPV though. Big fan, and I always like watching the low divisions.
