i think he's in oscar mode now.it'll be a fight a year for like 2 more fights than he's done.if miguel wants to fight floyd he's going to have to fight at least 3 fights this year.

Floyd's already negated the idea of fighting Cotto. If that is indeed the case, then if he beats Hatton, he should go ahead and retire after the fight. Nothing else he could do (except possibly a fight against Paul Williams) would satisfy the boxing public.

I wonder how PBF would react to a loss to Hatton. Would that make him want to retire or would it spur him to fight on to reestablish himself? If PBF beats Hatton he might think to call it a day because its too hard work to train for the big fights like against Cotto. But i think he should fight Cotto. I hope he does anyway.

I do as well. He isn't coming out with any outright "NO" like earlier. He says he will answer it after the fight. I am seriously anticipating the post fight interviews and the post fight presser.

Floyd would fight his mother if there was enough money in it. Trust me, he'll fight Cotto.

I also think he will fight Cotto.

But the problem is, once he signs to fight Cotto, he'll be criticized for "ducking" Williams, and then once he signs to fight Williams he'll be "ducking" Andre Berto or someone.

im not worried about him fighting cotto. The fight is guarenteed to happen. Guys just need to relax and let it happen. After floyd beats hatton, he'll announce his retirement and then after a month or two, the fight with cotto will be on for june or so in madision square garden
