He said he was going toe to toe with De La Hoya. That really didnt happen. But I think DLH had a much better chance to beat Mayweather than Hatton does.

I wasn't implying that he wasn't good, I am simply asking how good he is.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER: Well you don't have to worry about that this time. You don't have to worry about that. Believe me, when I tell you this, you don't have to worry about that. You won't get, you won't get a lot, you're going to get that from the opening bell.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER: I just wanted to say that I appreciate all the media because, I mean you guys are the ones that helped Floyd Mayweather get to the level that he's at over the years, writing all the articles and I appreciate, I mean everybody. I really, and I truly mean that and thanks for supporting me. My family appreciates you guys. Be there December 8; if you can't, buy pay-per-view because you, this go-around I have to give you guys a toe-to-toe battle and I'm not going to let you guys down. I'm going to go out there and perform well and all my U.K. fans, all my U.K. writers, I appreciate all the articles and continue to write about Ricky Hatton and continue to write about Floyd Mayweather and I'll see you guys next week. Thanks

Floyd doesn't have to go toe to toe to beat Hatton. He will fight up close to Hatton methinks more than likely after taking him into deep waters and drowning him.

Exactly, people talk about how Hatton can wear him down, etc. but do they Know how Floyd Mayweather can wear you down? What if hatton gets frustrated when he finds out he is not landing much and at the same time getting hit with the most accurate puncher (counterpuncher). Hatton will defend with his chin and floyd will make it a target practice.

Here's another reason why people can't stand Mayweather, he is a liar. Floyd DOES NOT have the courage or balls to stand toe to toe with Hatton, he needs to keep his big mouth shut.

So Mayweather decides to go toe toe with a smaller fighter instead of running, I'm not impressed. If he went toe to toe with the other top welterweights then I would be.

He has gone toe to toe with several fighters. Its not his fault that he can ****en beat his opponent on sheer skill nothing else. If i was floyd i would duck and counter duck and counter cirlcle and counter faint and counter and at the same time be laughing at hatton just to show how much better he is at this sport. He dont need to go toe to toe thats for people that cant out skill their opponent. the only chance they have is to rush and throw whatever.
