Kudos to whoever came up with that nickname... I can't remember where I heard that one from.

Anyways, his fight with Morales is on Versus right now, and he kind of reminds me of the way Kelly Pavlik fights. He is pretty technically skilled, and relies on his power quite a bit. Apparantly the **** is going to hit the fan for him pretty soon, considering they only have 15 minutes to wrap this **** up.

How good was this guy? I've heard his wins over Barrera are not representative of who the better fighter between the two is, but he actually looks good.

I also saw him get stopped by John (something) Johnson (can't remember his middle name)... but it was a long time ago, and he looked pretty bad in that fight.

Well at least the way he fought against Morales looked about the same way that Pavlik fought against Taylor...

Actually those fights looked pretty similar to be honest, all except for Jones (Taylor) ****ing Morales (Pavlik) up early in the fight.

He boxed behind his jab against Morales and made his power punches count when he threw them. Idk, maybe this fight is completely non-representative of his career as a whole, but...

He looked pretty good. Sounds like a case of Vince Phillips syndrome though... not taking the sport seriously enough to realize your full potential.

Does anyone know if he had a problem with drugs, because if not, that makes that sweet nickname someone gave him (it was when they were talking about how much Barrera ******... ) not that sweet.

He was a good boxer puncher. Did lose to a pair of mediocrities like J.M. Johnson and Daryl Pinckney, though. Mckinney ****in' blasted him in the hamed - kelly co-feature. You should seriously check that fight out. The Hamed fight too.

Wow, I totally forgot that I saw that McKinney fought Jones... I saw it when I was endlessly clicking on fighter after fighters boxrec links... McKinney looked real good against Barrera, and Jones looked pretty good against Morales.

I just might have to check that fight out.

I refuse to watch any more Naseem Hamed fights. I don't particularly enjoy watching amatuer boxing.
