Because they are honest and objective and not very nationalistic. (is that a word?)

Question to Britons on this site: are you disappointed or concerned that your professional boxers don't like Ricky's chances?
some people don't base it on race they base it on actual skills and realistic chances that a guy has to win the fight, all the apparent advantages go to Floyd, he's just a better overall Boxer and good ring technician and I think even if you grew up across the street from Ricky if you put all biasness aside and look at what both bring to the table you would pick Floyd too.. just my 2 cents. 100

Theres a serious reading comprehension problem arising in this conversation on your end.

What does him being p4p have to do with you being up his ass no matter how idiotic he is in and out of the ring? Yankee fan bandwagon mentality, its screwing this country.

I didn't say it should worry Ricky. I'm fairly certain RH knows what's coming. I am talking from a PR aspect.
What does PR have to do with this? Clinton Woods and Junior Witter are not mainstream stars like Calzaghe and Hatton, their fans dislike Hatton and Calzaghe therefore it helps their public relations to continue their opposition to former Warren fighters.

And I'll mention again that Hatton and his fans already know who the underdog is. So the predictions of a couple of non-indicative British fighters are not really worrisome.

I am not really British.. I just live here..

But some British are Picking Mayweather becasue.. He is the Most Taleneted boxer alive.. and in terms of sheer talent.. One of the Most talented boxers ever..(Please dont confuse that with me saying he is one of the "GREATEST" boxers ever)

It's hard to pick againt something like that.. No matter where your heart lays..

If .. and it's a BIG IF.... Hatton can Match Mayweather for speed.. then he has a chance.. I think his hand and foot speed are grossly underated by some people..BUT can it still comepete with Floyd's???

Why would they back another brit just for the hell of it? It's about the guys in the ring and if they feel the other guy is better then they are gonna say it.

I dunno, If I was pally with Hatton i'd definetely say he is going to win. From what I read, Calzaghe did, so did David Haye,Gavin Rees, Enzo Macrinelli and Frankie Gavin.
