This is a good post. I have been watching boxing religously since 1984, I have also boxed competitively. I consider myself an astute observer and not some brainless nuthugger. You make some great points about the prospects of Tito winning. I think Jones has the best chances of winning when looked at on paper but your points are valid about Tito.
I believe Jones is going to attempt to ambush Tito earlier in the fight and try to get him out of there. I saw an interview where he was talking about J. Taylor fighting C. Spinks and he kept emphasizing how the larger fighter (Taylor) should have been able to get Spinks out of there at will.
I believe Jones feels this way about Tito and that he will try to do this early in the fight. If he does this and Tito survives the onslaught and I think he can,........unless Jones really hurts him with a huge shot. Jone could get tired and punched out. Tito could then start his own onslaught. He has so much heart and pride.
I just feel alot of people are writing off Tito too easy. This is not Winky Wright he's fighting. RJJ will give him holes and openings to hit unlike Winky.
My biggest worry for Tito is that RJJ just steamrolls him early. I don't think RJJ wants to make a long night out of this fight. He has too many spells where he gets his back on the ropes. This could be a real bad idea against Tito.
This is an interesting fight!!!!Comment

Two Brutal Ko losses and a third on points.
And....
1.Right so a win over no name Prince Joffe jaffe of zamunda.
2.A win over a guy who came up from 168 with a nicely padded resume coming off a draw against the Murderous Mendy.
3.Then a win over a guy who has been inactive and last fought at 160 yet his Prime years were at 147 are all good enough achievements to gain a Title Tilt ?
Do you know how ree****yaluss that is?
If you can accept that crap then you are a part of what is wrong with Boxing.Comment

Obviously not.
Please explain what you mean?
And please tell me when Roy was last effective against a real opponent.
I'd say you would have to time travel back to 2003.
Which is nearly 5 years ago.
Roy is washed up and nearly 40 years old burt mugs like you will keep buying into the hyperbole.
No doubt you think Tyson can regain his form as well.Comment
