There was nothing close about the Williams fight. That was a Paul Williams infomercial. If he doesn't get in with the big guys but loses instead to the lesser fighters he risks his rep against, that's his own loss.
Not close???? I had that fight a draw. Marg was whooping that ass on the last half of the fight, and I also had him winning two of the first 6 rounds.

Maragrito land hard blows but He eat like 6 punches in return, And since he couldnt put a dent in Williams with his harder punches he lost it at the scorecard, Funny enough Maragrito was the one who people call the Volume puncher going into the fight but somehow he just could march up to another Volume puncher.

Fight 2: Ken Morita 115-113, Larry O'Connell 116-113, Daniel Van de Wiele 115-113, all for Mayweather Jr.

Sounds like you are really holding your own in this thread.

You've managed to start saying that Castillo was less shot than De La Hoya in their respective bouts against Hatton and Mayweather Jr. Well done.

Round of applause for this genius, everyone please.

WOW. the judges actually had the 2nd fight closer than the first? I had the 1st fight very close, i thought castillo pulled it off, but far from robbery. The scores for the 1st fight would have suited the 2nd one more.

I don't care too much for what the cards say, that was Paul Williams proving himself to be a clearly better fighter than Margarito. There was nothing close about that fight. Williams can do more things than Margarito. If they ever fought again I don't think anything would change.

I can't see the fight anything closer than 8-4 or 9-3 Williams. Margarito would have these little bursts of energy that would last 30 seconds, but whenever Williams threw in combination Margarito looked lost.

Margarito's style has always been to intimidate his opponents into giving up ground so that he can garner some momentum on his shots coming forward. If Margarito is forced to stand and fight an accurate punching match, he loses all the time. He doesn't have the coordination of hands and feet to effectively box.

Theres a grip of fighters that come off a loss to fight some buster with a questionable record, lol it's nothin new. Johnson had a winning record atleast with 25 wins and 7 losses, 4 of his last 7 by KO or TKO.

All these fighters that lose to a Mexican, end up choosin some bum ass Mexican to make a comeback against lol, now Margarito fights all the fighters no one else is fighting smashes Cintron, battles through Clottey, and almost tips Williams over like a tree, and he can't just get a easy ass fight for a comeback? lol Really? ahhhh, just get yourselves a box of tissues and you kids will get over it.

Anyways the only two fighters he could be fighting during this comeback is Williams again or Cintron again. Not only that but he want's Cotto, and he already made a mistake in takin on the freak show of the division before gettin his shot at Cotto. And the Castillo fight isn't even official is it?

But who should Margarito fight? Judah? After Margarito wins we'll remember why Judah lost to Baldomir. Quintana's caught up, Cintron is injured, and he was set to fight Williams. Williams? Margarito's not ready for that immediate rematch wich is probably why it wasn't made. He was set to fight Kermit anyway..

So...Cotto said he'd love to fight Margarito, Margarito wants to fight Cotto. But we probably won't know what he's doin until after December 8th. I mean who else is left? Mayorga? Post Trinidad-Mayorga, I'd say it would be a good fight. But now, I don't think Mayorga can take anymore punishment. So who's left?
