Its not like MAB was close to winning the first fight. Dont get me wrong, MAB put up a good fight but the second fight should have never happend IMO.

Yeah the Louis fight. He took him out in the first round, broke like four ribs. Basically beat the **** out of him.

Edit: I removed two fights because it wasn't what this thread was about.

I'm hoping we could add Cintron-Margarito to this list in the upcoming future..

many trilogies come to mind though like Ruiz-Holyfield, Gatti-Ward, Pacquiao-Morales, Ali-Frazier and a few rematches but mostly all of them were named, some of the ones I named were named too and I ain't trying to repeat what already been posted, if I come up with some more I'll post them for sure.. 100

2 of the rematches that came to mind for me are completely different than what you are all thinking of. You are all thinking of fights that were completely lopsided the second time. I was thinking about fights that were lopsided the first time and it seemed odd that a rematch was made.

thats one way to look at it, Shane did switch up and came back very determined yet still fell into the same traps, I guess like they were saying back then "they had Shane's number", another similar rematch following this notion is Shane Mosley VS Oscar De La Hoya, Oscar came back hard and looked good but he lost just like he lost the 1st one..

Yeah, usually the ones I am talking about are guys living off their names.

I've never seen it done twice though.

Mosley got all the love in the ****ing world by the powers that be, I swear.
