I've seen Hatton do this also. Just goes to show that the Brit boxing equipment must suck over there.

I was wondering what was up when Lampley was saying Joe was wearing Grant Gloves. They looked like Grant gloves but then had the Lonsdale logo, so I thought Lampley was just trippin, but I guess he was right.

OK, I've been wondering about this. Particularly with Hatton and what has appeared to be the new Everlast gloves with the Lonsdale logo over it.

I guess they were Everlast after all?

I was trying to figure out how they get the Lonsdale logo over the label so it stays put with all the moisture and what have you..

              Interesting situation overall.

I love Grant gloves. I just bought a new pair. I was thinking those Lonsdales Joe was wearing when he fought Kessler looked like Grant - then the post fight comments confirmed it. Hopefully justice is served.

Yep, you can clearly see the Everlast label under there.

and ur soldiers suck so bad in america they bring british consultants over to
help give them better training....when the americans shoot, everyone ducks.

personally i think that advertising is ruining boxing and mma.
they have dangerously slippery adverts in the ring, which can cause fighters
to slip at inopportune moments, mma fighters especially have to get their
shirts on asap, or risk losing advertising money as well as having to get all
their shoutouts in in the little time given to them, we barely hear their take
on the fight because of it. then we have adverts on tv broadcasts between]
rounds. adverts at the start and beginning of shows as well as the usual adverts.

its ****in crazy. personally i think they should ban shout outs and ring
advertisement, does anyonem go out and buy stuff because a boxer mention
it after a fight. does anyone go and buy something cause they have a metre
square advert in the middle of the ring, waste of time for the advertisers imo

as for the glove situation, we got the gloves from america cause they
have the most experience in protecting their weakhanded fighters.

his happens because both calzaghe and hatton are sponsored by lonsdale. they have to incorporate them into every public appearance they make under the contract and ive never seen a good lonsdale glove yet so obviously this solves it
