Thanks for that Ice. I hope our posters here see this. That Sosa knockdown was incredibile & accurate. I also remember seeing him fight Reggie Johnson fight & how he set him up beautifully. I think Johnson threw a lazy jab out there & Jones countered him so fast with a 1-2 that dropped him. My mouth hit the floor on how he was able to counter/place his punches so well.
Question For The Ice Man

dude relax he was just asking what happened with his boxing career... whats your problem?? i dont see why ice would be offended by that question so get off your high horseMy man, that's very disrespectful to talk to a former pro fighter & a current trainer like that. You'd be lucky to accomplish half of what he's done in his career as a boxer/trainer. Now I'd be willing to put up real money that you wouldn't talk that that to his face like that so give the man the same respect.Comment

Get off my high horse? I didn't know I was on one. If you didn't pick up on what dude was doing then you should just stay out of it.Comment

well to me he was asking a question about ice's career.... not really a big deal, unless you felt he was being deliberately obtuse??? if thats the case then i apologise but my take was he was just asking a normal questionComment

Ice Man takes time out of the day to post here & most appreciate that. It's also known that he's "retired" & has been busy training fighters. That posters reply came off as disrespectful & smug if you ask me. If I'm mistaken about that then it's my apologies to him.Comment

yeah i always enjoy reading what ice has to say, he offers a great insight and its cool to have a guy connected so well with boxing actually post here and use his proper identity. lets call a truce eh and hope that geezer appreciates him as well?? take it easy mateComment

I am currently training a few amateurs plus IBO 122 pound champion Mike Oliver and NABF cruiserweight champion Matt Godfrey. I also work in the corner for unbeaten 130 pounder Matt Remillard. I also used to train WBA 154 pound champion Jopse Rivera, former NABF 135 pound champion Israel Cardona and current WBC 175 pound champion Chad DawsonComment

I was there live (been to 19 of his pro fights) and right before he dropped him I told my friend "he's setting him up for the right hand" and boom, maybe three seconds later there it was.Comment
