Three Top Experts Pick Mayweather To Win

In a recent poll conducted by the Mike Houser of the Nevada Appeal, three out of four neutral experts picked WBC welterweight champ Floyd Mayweather Jr. (38-0, 24KOs) to defeat Ricky Hatton (43-0, 31KOs) on Dec. 8 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. [details]

Mayweather was out of shape and was carrying a shoulder injury when he spared Spadafara, and thats the big word,SPAR,theres a huge difference from preparing yourself to fight injury free, and going into the gym to spar,u cant compare a sparing match which was years ago to the biggest fight in years

I also got Mayweather, but Ricky has been impressing me alot with his confidence and training, props to both fighters for taking the fight,i cant wait!

I was excited about PBF and DLH. I was even more excited about Kessler and JC. But now i am even more excited by Haton and PBF. Even though the fight might prove disssapointing.
Cant see what fight would excite the juices after this one.

I bet those top experts also picked Tyson to beat Douglas, RJJ to beat both Tarver and Johnson, Oscar to beat Sturm, etc. This is boxing. Anything can happen. Hatton might be the underdog coming into this fight, but he sure as hell is as live as an underdog as u can be.

No kidding. The majority of the "experts" are supposed to pick the favorite, nothing new here.

Yeah, like he had trouble with Baldy, Gatti, Castillo (II), Corrales, and Chavez, right? They are all pressure fighters and Floyd handled them just fine.

BTW, when you spar you are paid to imitate another fighter's style. Was Floyd fighting his style of fight or was he imitating someone's style?

I think most knowledgable fans would make PBF the favourite, I know I do.
But to say Hatton hasn't got a chance is ridiculous.

I'm picking Ricky Hatton by a decision.

He won't knock Floyd out but he will outwork him.

Oscar would have beaten Floyd if he hadn't stopped fighting after the fifth round...and Oscar at 34 is a "part-time, one-handed fighter".

Or at least that's what the human sycophant, aka Leonard Ellerbe aka Floyd's *****, called Oscar before his master barely won a split decision.

I'm betting the house on Ricky. Double Down! All in! Sign me up!

Be nice to see these 'Experts' proved wrong when Ricky leaves the winner.
