I expect Mayweather Hatton to do around 1 million ppv buys, so the difference is 650K.
    Oscars impact on Floyd's numbers.
    I agree

Plus Oscar had a huge female following that weren't even boxing fans before that.

Is this really supposed to be a bait thread?

I think it is actually pretty on-point.

Floyd has always had pretty good star quality. He has made Gatti, Judah and Baldomir all have their biggest PPV numbers when they fought him... but now that he fought DLH, he is going to be an absolute superstar draw-wise.

If ricky hatton is the draw why is this his first P.P.V

his fight vs. Castillo could been P.P.V
          Or
          With Collozo

why is this his First P.P.V in his whole carrer....

Yeah your right in away but even before that fight people were watching him because they hate him!!!

I would say No...The Gatti fight is what initially brought FLoyd to the genral public because it was a PPV bout in which he was headlining....nobody knew him before that fight really unless u were a big time boxing fan....DLH defiantely didn't make him the draw he is...HBO and 24/7 made him the draw he is. He was already best P4p Boxer by the time DLH caught up to him....maybe the DLH fight is what MADE YOU know who floyd is....Also don't be ridiculous and think DLH is that special because he didn't make that nobody guy who whooped his asss on HBO before the Hopkins fight into a draw...so if your trying to say DLH takes nobodies and makes them do BIg numbers your full of ****

                AND THATS A FACT....

SO HOW DID OSCAR MAKE FLOYD WHEN FLOYD OUT SOLD OSCAR IN THIER FIRST 4 PPVS.....
24/7 helped this one out a massive amount. Plus DLH & Golden Boy marketed the **** out of the fight, it had so much advertising it wasn't funny.

DLH is the biggest PPV star of all time. I'm not a DLH fan one bit, but it's the truth.

Many people tune in to Floyd to see him get KOd. At least a third of the people buying the Hatton fight will be doing so just for that very reason. They want to see Floyd hit the deck.
