Arguably he already did against Brewster, but is it conceivable that against the smaller, weaker-chinned opponent Wlad can get a cleaner stoppage by landing a barrage of jabs?
Is it possible for Wlad to get a jab-knockout against Ibragimov?

He did that against Fabio Moli, as far as I remember. He actually dropped him down and out with a jab.Comment

It's possible, but Ibragimov has much better defense than Brewster and he dosen't just stand in front of his opponent. Wlad will win by KO, but I think it will be from a hard right hand that Sultan dosen't see coming.Last edited by WLAD OWNS; 11-27-2007, 06:56 PM.Comment

He actually had Hide down and out after a little jab. Herbie Hide had the worst chin in the history of combat sports. I could throw a grain of sand at it and he'd probably die.Comment

I missed that. In the Brewster fight he was landing five and six jabs in a row, changing the angles. It was a lot of punishment actually but Brewster has a top-notch chin.Comment

Given that Sultan walks left, a right hand seems likely. But Sultan could counter the right hand, he can't counter the jab I don't think.Comment

Given that Ibragimov is a southpaw, I think that Wlad will be using his left hook more than anything, since Ibragimov will most likely be preparing to avoid and counter Wlad's right hand. In which case, I hope Ibragimov's team watches Austin's fight.Comment
