Hatton can win by using tactics (Holding, Roughousing etc,)

See how much he was allowed to hold here? unless he gets points deducted, I do think he will get away with it and that can win him the fight if the referee does **** all.

This was really frustrating to watch because Ricky is an exciting fighter, if he did'nt hold he would be the most exciting fighter in the world.

Floyd will be moving backwards as he does, and Hatton will be cutting the gap with fast leverages and footspeed, he'll be looking to get his head into Floyd's chest so he can release - not hold. Floyd can only ping in the right uppercut from there, but he's risking Hatton scoring the knockdown drops with the left hook

Floyd will keep going back, and if he doesn't, Ricky pings him with shots in-and-out and when Floyd drops the right shoulder Ricky pings him with his angled left hands, that is unless Floyd keeps going back - but he can't keep going back, because there are things called ropes, and if Hatton gets him to the ropes with his head into his chest then Mayweather may not get off them...

do we know yet who the ref is going to be for hatton/pbf? If joe cortez (or someone like him) ends up in there Hatton's chances are basically cut in half (watch the hatton/castillo fight...he HATES clinching)

i know this may sound crazy but...i mean, did yall ever think that maybe mayweather might..actually...go toe to toe if he has to? i mean, if hatton is all over him and he cant get him off, just like in round 11 of the castillo fight, if he knows its on the line, mayweather isnt exactly a *****, he will man up if he has to, so i wouldnt put it all on mayweathers ability to just trot around the ring, especially on a guy whos smaller than him.

If he goes toe-to-toe, he's giving Ricky opportunities to get his feet set. That he doesn't want to do...

He might do that from the beginning. De La Hoya was too strong and powerful, Floyd had to fight in retreat to have a chance. Baldomir didn't have the power, but it was easy enough to pick him off and rack up the rounds, also Baldy's lack of footspeed made an elusive fight a 100% guaranteed win for Floyd. but since Ricky can actually catch Floyd, Floyd should fight more in the middle of thering, keep Ricky in front of him and pick apart his defense. Going backwards in this case could get him hurt.

I've always said the only way Mayweather can beat Hatton is to fight from ring centre with a very high output to keep him off him, other than taking him with a bodyshot

Mayweather going "toe to toe" with ricky..even briefly..is just the sort of thing that would allow an upset to occur. PBF has been to intelligent to do that in the past(at least at higher weights).

However, Floyd does seem..unbelievably..more arrogant than ever before. Perhaps his judgement IS clouded enough for him to make that kind of a blunder. I hope so.
