    Let's try this again...

Okay, so after my first attempt at this thread was almost completely not responded to, I would like to try to start a discussion about one of the fights this weekend.

    Vernon Forrest vs. Michele Piccirillo

Does anyone give Piccirillo a chance? I heard that his biggest win over Spinks was a hometown decision, and he has problems when he gets boxed. I've never seen him fight though.

    Thoughts?

Side note, anyone want to bet on Piccirillo? I would love to place some points on my boy, just for the sake of being a fan.

vernons been boxing gooood last couple fights.
don't blame him for not being able to knock out bovine head baldy.

piccirillo went 12 with mayorga 2yrs ago. and has beat all the euro class.

vernon hasnt had a knockout for awhile. he's over due. or an easy decision.

Piccirillo is a tough guy and he has a lot of heart, but he will get outboxed by Forrest and lose 116-112 or 117-111 UD.

The fight at 154 that I really wanna see is Karmazin vs Forrest, it would be a great fight, but I think Karmazin is too strong and tough for Forrest, I can see Karmazin winning by late KO/TKO in a close fight.
