I have to agree, non stop action, with both fighters down,and hurt, and thats what makes an interesting, exciting fight. Not just a slugfest where both fighters are taking each other's punishment. e.g. Tua vs Ibeabuchi.

I don't think it was either. I'll go with Marquez-Vazquez 2, Bika and Codrington didn't have the skill of those 2. Marquez-Vazquez 2 was to me like skilled violence.

i got carried away with the excitement of the fight and i believe it was but after watching Vazquez/Marquez 2 again, the level of intensity, excitement and skill surpasses the contender fight. not by alot though.
