it was definitely a great performance, whether its the best of all time i dont know... but since i've been watching boxing (about 11 years) i've not seen much better. i'd say calzaghe lacy was similar. however i guess you gotta take the fact that diego was considered such a dangerous opponent and had p4p status which lacy didn't (p4p anyways, certainly dangerous)

Yes, it's been a great performance. Lots of boxing fans bilieved in a Mayweather's Victory, but not in a sensational permormance like that.

It was a clinical boxing display, but what about 42-1 underdog Buster Douglas KOing Tyson?
Or Louis destroying the only man to beat him Schmeling?

          Was Corrales a great champion?

            He was a TOP10 p4p boxer.
33-0 with 30 KO's, he was considered a sort of Kelly Pavlik and he has been humiliated by Mayweather. I think Mayweather's performance that night has been one of the most impressive win of the last decade.

agreed, definitely one of the performances of the decade, but difficult to put it into perspective for all time....

I agree with the above posters. Great performance but nowhere near the greatest performance of all time.
