Katsidis is WAY too one dimensional to fight a guy like Juan Diaz. Should be an exiting fight, but Juan wins this one by a big margin on the scorecards, or by a late TKO/stoppage probably on cuts.
Juan diaz vs Michael Katsidis on the works!!!

I hope this source doesn't flop like the one saying that Pacquiao was dropping Marquez to fight David Diaz. If indeed this fight does come to fruition, which I would absolutely love to see happen, I want Katsidis to take this, but no doubt in my mind Juan gives him the fight of his life.Comment

exactly. have you seen anyone swell as easily as katsidis since gatti?
simply put, diaz is the man.Comment

Wow, someone is using the Google translation tool, lol.
Yes, Juan is too much for Katsidis. Not that Kat doesn't have a puncher's chance, but Juan is too skilled and throws too many punches for Kat.
I also think this is a 10 round TKO after Kat is cut/swollen and can't continue.Comment

there's no quit in katsidis. this is a definite FOTY. juan has the skills but doesnt have the power. if juan fights his usual fight he's going to score well but he'll wear some HEAVY shots back. it'll be a real war. i cant wait.
go katsidis.Comment

yeah too bad for the fighter being rushed = short career
i absolutely agree, Juan Diaz is THE MAN!!
although i like kat to have at least 2 more fights to get better and improve on his defense ... I wont say NO to this fight, for the action, blood and gore it promises!!Comment

This fight will last 6 rounds max. Katsidis punches hard but his chin is dodgy, he got floored heavily by a punch drunk Graham Earl. I think we can all agree that Earl doesnt punch as hard as Diaz. Diaz lands clean and the fight is over. As for Diaz, he hits as hard as Katsidis but his chin is proven somewhat, though whether he can stand up to the power Katsidis WILL throw at him is another question.
It will come down to who has the better chin, and I think that honour lies with Diaz.Comment
