    Cintron - Feliciano SCORES

Does anyone have the official judges scores???

I finally came up with the stomach to watch the fight again.

    1- Cintron
    2- Cintron
    3- Feliciano
    4- Cintron
    5- Feliciano
    6- Feliciano
    7- Cintron
    8- Feliciano
    9- Feliciano
    10- Cintron

So basicly, had it 86-85 Feliciano upto the 9th round, before the TKO in the 10th. During the First Round, with 2:15 to go, Cintron landed a hard right that I heard it back home, loud and clear. (I heard the crack sound) Then again, Cintron said he hurted his hand while landing hard combos with 1:40 and 1:25 to go of the 1st round. The last one almost KO Feliciano.

After the 3rd round, you could tell Cintron was mainly using his left and kept his right for protection. It was obvious there was something wrong with Cintron. His biggest mistake was to let Feliciano step in and fight at close range. Everytime Kermit kept the distance, he landed the best shots. Jesse's best rounds were the 5th and 8th. Kermit best rounds were 1st, 7th and 10th (duh!).

The fight was not as bad as I thought it was the first time I saw it. In the end, hats off to Feliciano's courage and shame on Cintron's lack of skills at this level.

i think its completely unfair to downtalk cintrons skill, who the **** knew that feliciano would be standing up to the biggest puncher in the division like that for as long as he did, i mean he tore into the guy, landing vicious punches that have put better fighters out on the canvas. cintron didint exactly give up or look discouraged, it was just the guy came with an ungodly chin and it took the kitchen sink to put him out.

I agree entirely with you. Still, if Cintron is going to step up to the next level like Cotto did, he better start winning convincingly. The fight exposed Cintron lack of experience to deal in close combat. Just like Pantera was exposed by Pavlik when he did not had the skills to fight backwards. Cintron needs to get back to the drawing board if he is going to have a chance agaisnt Paul Williams.

Fight will be different due to styles, since Williams needs to keep distance too. But somehow, I don't get a sense from Cintron to show he has mature enough to deal with the pressure he is going to get from The Punisher or Margarito. Emmanuel Stuart might be right after all, Kermit needs a couple of more fights for experience purposes before the bigger fights.

i havent watched the fight a second time but from what i remember, i only gave feliciano a few rounds. His punches has almost no power behide them. cintron was landing cleaner, more powerful shots. that guy just had an unbelievable chin.

Yeah Felciano showed an unreal chin. Defensively though Cintron struggled against a guy who was throwing soft, sloppy punches. Cintron looked very bothered by it. How could he stand up to Williams' work rate? I cant see it.

Still Feliciano was more active and landing more punches even if the punches were more like "weak gay slaps".

Williams has a decent left uppercut when he wants to throw it. It depends on whether Williams can take some hard punches. He did in the Margarito fight.

William's toughest fight is agaisnt Cintron due to the constant KO threat in Kermit power punch. He has a better chance to win by decision agaisnt Floyd and Cotto.
