There is 20,000 English people going over and they will get tickets. The English do it at any sporting event they go to. The boxing in america will be no different

theyl be thousands of brits going over without a ticket and cash on the hip , in other words tickets touts are gonna make a killing on the night 70% of the crowd will be hatton fans i bet

LOL know Ricky Hattons camp was given 3,800 tickets to distrbute in a ballot. But the rest are being bought by people from the UK on the american ticketmaster for Willcall (they pick them up at the MGM grand on the day of the fight). Alot of people from UK buying from ticket touts and expensive travel packages(flights and fight tickets). Consequently there will be much much more than 3,800 Hatton fans in the arena, maybe two thirds will be people travelling from the UK.

Last I heard as of a few days ago only a third of the crowd will be pro-Hatton (Brits I mean). But with ticket scalping and whatnot, it will most likely be half and half. Let's not forget Mayweather lives in Las Vegas and I'm sure he has a decent amount of fan fair there.

If the Arena has 35,000 fans, it will be like this:

14,000 - Hatton
21,000 - Floyd

Few things you have to consider:

1. 4,000 tickets have been sold in UK.
2. Floyd last fight turned him into a superstar + Dancing with the stars
3. Hatton has got some american fans as well
4. The fight is in Las Vegas where the most fans of Floyd Mayweather live

like feed the goat says british fans always get hold of tickets. whenever there are major sporting events, football, rugby, cricket boxing we support our own like no other country. to have 20,000 fans going over so close to xmas is amazing support

I believe it will like Barrera-Pacquiao 2 when both got the equal amount of cheers. AMericans like myself will probably support Mayweather due to the nationality of both fighters. But then some americans dont generally like Mayweather like when most of the MGM Grand booed him against Oscar. I still think Mayweather fans will be the loudest
