    Just watched Cintron-Feliciano

Man that whole post fight injury seemed so fake to me. I really dont believe it at all. I mean he won, raised his hands, dropped on his knees (trying to copy Cotto what he did when he beat Torres) and then he started acting hurt. You can say andrenilin ran out or whateva, but i didnt buy that act one bit.

Feliciano has been KOd in one round by Mike Arnaoutis, Arnaoutis had the ni9ga down 3 times. Feliciano was KOd in 8 by Mohammed Abdullaev but he did give a decent fight. I never seen the Dhop fight but apparently he KOd Feliciano in 4. All this taking place at 140. How could the "hardest puncher at 147" hit him with everything but the kitchen sink and not hurt him? he did hurt him in the end but i felt that was an ealy stoppage, he may have been KOd in a few more seconds but come on, Cotto was more hurt than that vs Torres, Pavlik was more hurt than that vs Taylor, and look how them fights played out.

Overall, I thought Cintron fought a terrible fight. Hes just an alright fighter with world class power. I also didnt like how he came out with his hands down acting like hes faster than he is.

Dont be fooled by what the announcers were saying. Feliciano is FAR from a world class fighter. Cintron should have KOd this guy early. Cintron has fought very limited opposition and careful matchmaking fights since Margarito and he has recieved too mch credit like he beat great guys or something. He beat Mark Suarez for a world title, WHO IS MARK SUAREZ? Cintron has no right to be a champion and its a shame that Cintron-Feliciano was for a world title.

if cintron used his footwork since the first round it will not pass RD.4.. i cant understand he stand toe-toe with feliciano..or just feliciano control the fight in the mid rounds by changing his style and cintron cant do anything about that..but in my opinion cintron can still hang with williams and margarito.it just feliciano was good that night..

That's the first time I've ever seen Cintron, I had him losing that fight before it was stopped.

i didnt think feliciano was good that night at all. He was coming forward reckless with awful defense and punching like a girl. A boxer-puncher should have been able to destroy him.

              1. Cintron did not fight his fight, you are right about that.
              2. His right hand was obviously busted. everytime he threw it after the first it looked like he was slapping with it. have you ever seen kermit cintron throw that many left hooks in all your life? all in all, this could help, in that his left hook looked good and it's another weapon in his arsenal.
              3. Feliciano got hit with 14 unanswered shots, most of them power shots, how is that stoppage not called for?? I honestly dont think feliciano was going down that night. he was right after the fight when he compared himself to arturo gatti. he put on a gutsy performance that made a fan out of me.
              4. Mark suarez is a good ass fighter. try to get some of his fight tapes, cuz they guy can ****.
              5. Kermit got into a bad situation, and got himself out of it and KO'd a guy. i dont see where the problem is. I mean, it's not like Pwil is a similar fighter to feliciano. Pwil isnt going to get small and get inside, he will be outside, right in front, right where cintron likes 'em.

Cintron is your favorite fighter, of course you will defend him when others put him down.

And Mark Suarez is NOT a GOOD ASS fighter lol. Come on now. Ive only seen 2 of his fights but the guys not that good bro sorry. He had no right fighting for a title, and neither did Cintron. Cintron lost to a real champion he challenged, Margarito. Suarez was a nobody, and he still is a nobody.

I am just surprised that a KO win has garnered so much criticism. I totally agree that it wasnt his best fight, but ****, feliciano fought a great fight. That being said, had cintron not stopped throwing his right (effectively throwing it), the fight could have been over in the second round, as cintron had him wobbled in the first round.

and as far as "they (cintron and suarez) should not have been fighting for a belt", what should they have done? when Floyd vacated the belt, and asked kermit, the #2 guy in that governing body, to fight for the vacant spot should he have sais "Wait, No, No, im not going to do that. i dont deserve it. someone else should take this fight." that is ridiculous to say he doesnt deserve the belt. he did what he needed to do to get it.

Listen, cintron is my favorite fighter, and i will say that he didnt fight a smart fight. he let feliciano take him out of his game plan and didnt look as impressive as he did against matthysse. That being said, he busted his right hand, he KO'd the guy, after 9rounds had him up 6-4 (one round i gave to both fighters), he was landing huge shots, and not every fight is going to be able to be won like the matthysse fight. sometimes guys fight other guys that dont make them look great, or guys that fight over their heads. Feliciano knew he was getting a chance he may never get again, and that is how he fought. Props to him for that, he made me a fan. but props to cintron, as well, for weathering what ended up being a tougher night than he expected and coming out with a win.
