when mayweather fought diego corralles, almost everyone, including myself thought he would be knocked out because diego was killing everyone and was highly touted, as well as p4p 5 on the list. when he devastated corralles everyone was shocked, i certainly was.

its easy to be a revisionist when you havent been around the sport as long, but trust me, the landscape of opinons on the internet tend to be rediculous because i can always tell who hasnt really been around the sport that long just by the way some people word **** and say ****.
No offense, but I was locked up for that fight.
And all I heard from the Red Rag crowd was, Corrales is going to whoop that ass.

    **** was funny to me.

Had nothing to do with that. Mayweather whooped that ass.
    NICEEEE..

Mayweather moves up in weight and fights a CHAMPION. Gets controversial decision. Rematches that guy IMMEDIATELY and beats him convincingly.

Hatton moves up in weight and fights BELTHOLDER. Gets controversial decision. Re-, um, oh, ahhh, huh? What?. Tucks tail, runs back to 140, and fights the legendary Juan U****i, or something like that.

They are very different people. Very different fighters.

would that be the same champion that Hatton left spread on the canvas struggling to breathe after he had hit him? The same champion that ricky took 4 rounds to do what Floyd could not manage in 24?

Yeah, the only difference is that Castillo could walk a straight line against Mayweather if he wanted to.

Only a breathalizer would have saved Castillo from getting a DUI that night. That dude's balance was worse than any fighter I have ever seen.

fella i'm not here to trash floyd or other fighters, I think Flyds a class act in the ring. But u people trying to pick holes in Ricky Hatton are making a serious mistake and regardless of the result he will make all the doubters and idiots on here look fools because I will guarentee that he will either win or Floyd will have to prove how good he is, as ricky will test him more than any other fighter ever has

Do you always get upset when someone points out a parallel between two things, and the less positive one is about the one you like?

It is true that Mayweather has immediately called for a rematch in his two disputed decisions, and convincingly won against the one who took him up on it.

Hatton, on the other hand, did not grant his controversial victory's victim a rematch.

And how the **** are we making a serious mistake picking holes in Hatton's resume? Should we be busy training for that fight or something?

It's a discussion board Goat, chill.
