Kelly Pavlik would probably beat Calzaghe late by KO

I think Steward has been wanting to say this now for a long time.
All that talk before the fight was a ploy to give Taylor confidence. Deep down he was scared. He had to be, Pavlik is his type of fighter. He wanted to train Pavlik for a reason.Comment

i could tell he was scared because he kept putting Pavlik so down like he had never done to any of his adversariesComment

It will be competitive again, and it will end in the same fashion. Taylor is a good fighter, but when you put him in with a big guy who is skilled and can punch like that, he's going to lose every time.
Pavlik is pound for pound one of the hardest punchers in the sport. Taylor back peddles with his left hand down. I mean come on.Comment

Taylor wants the fight at 166 because he will be stronger at that weight. Taylor is a big middleweight and he said before the Pavlik fight that it would be his last fight at 160 becvause it's hard to make that weight. Now Taylor is going to be stronger. Both Taylor and Pavlik are going to be stronger at 166. It will most likely be a good competitive fight. Pavlik is of course the favorite but I wouldn't be surprised if Taylor finds a way to win the rematch.Comment

In my opinion this entier Pavlik/Steward situation has been extremely unprofessional on Manny's part. It was well known that he wanted to train Pavlik before the Taylor fight was signed (I'm not sure exactly how long he wanted to train him beforehand), he kept saying **** about KElly trying to build Jermain's confidence, and after the fight was on Pavlik's ****, now this?
I just think Manny is showing unprofessional behavior being that he just came off training Jermain, and even said before he left as his trainer, "I told them to take the immediate rematch." He says that, then comes out and says "Pavlik will be stronger at 166", cone on Manny, smarten up.Comment
