He stoppped using his jab for a reason. Lateral movement son.......Floyd adjusted and Oscar's jab was less effective. Nobody stops doing what works for them for nothing.

Floyd had a lil something to do with that.

i had it 115-113 de la hoya...

can i see how mayweather was awarded the decision? sure i can but on my card i gave oscar the nod 7 rounds to 5 rounds.

had that been a prime oscar de la hoya i say de la hoya would have been awarded the decision by the judges due to the fact he wouldnt have faded.

oscar fading was his downfall to winning the fight.

even though many of the punches werent landing he was punching and punches that dont land (in the eyes of some judges and fans) is better than punches never attempted.

my criteria on how to score fights matters on the styles.

in this case it boils down to:

            A) do you like mayweather defensive skills and higher connect percentage?

            or

            B) do you like oscar de la hoya's high work rate and aggerssor role in the fight?

its all in the eye of the beholder and styles make fights and the styles were near polar opposites...

I had it 116-112 watching it live. After rewatching I thought 115-113 for Floyd may be reasonable, but theres no way in hell Oscar won more than five rounds.
