It appears that Oscar De La Hoya helped Ricky Hatton with his training for the Las Vegas showdown with WBC welterweight champion Floyd Mayweather Jr., scheduled to take place on Dec. 8 on HBO pay-per-view. Hatton told The Evening Standard that De La Hoya recommended which sparring partners to use for Mayweather. [details]

You guys are fooling yourselves if you think this is something nice by Oscar. Oscar is just trying anything he can to make sure Hatton wins because thats the fight Oscar wants next. Im still scared that he has this fight setup with the judges. Ive never seen someone like Oscar make so many plans and talk so much about the Hatton fight like he is sure that Hatton will winComment

He wont be able to, he could have got the judges and won against Mayweather in their fight, why would'nt he make himself win rather than some other fighter?
Also this is promoted by Mayweather Promotions as well...
