Mayweather has a shot, but not a big one

I'd be shocked if Mayweather pulled it off. Everything style-wise and attribute-wise and career-wise is loaded in Hatton's favour in my opinion

Career wise? What do you mean by that? You don't mean that he has a better resume then Floyd do you? Because if so, that's absurd.

Floyd's too talented, that's his problem

Ricky has been cut, he's been knocked down, he's been shaken up, he's been punched hard (Tszyu), he's punched hard (fractured fist on Tackie's head). These are factors, because Hatton is dragging Mayweather into deep waters whether he likes it or not - and that's brand new territory for the Pretty Boy

          Mayweather's broken his hand, too.

That just shows the weaknesses of Hatton...

Orange, has Hatton never fought a fight without excessive clinching? I mean do you think he has a back up plan if coretz doesn't let him hold as much?

If you think this fight is big in the states you should see the hype in the UK. A sports news channel has update on Ricky Hatton at least twice a week, everyone knows about the fight. Unfortunately some of the more casual fans have yet to realise the real proverbial mountain Ricky has to climb. But I am sure as 24/7 progress they will understand the significance of Hatton winning.

Reminds me of De La Hoya/Mayweather, just as big, if not bigger since it's being so highly talked about overseas as well. I remember for De La Hoya/Mayweather, I was staying with my mother that weekend. And my sister took care of her while I went to see the fight at a bar.

When I came back my sister's first words were "who won!?".

She's now talking to me about Mayweather and Hatton, keep in mind this is a girl who works full time and goes to college everyday, and hasn't known a fighter since Muhammad Ali.

This is a FAAAAAAAAR bigger fight then MAYWEATHER-DLH was on a WORLD-WIDE SCALE, but in the US Mayweather-DLH was plenty bigger
