Can Floyd Mayweather Jr be a good trainer?

When floyd does retire from boxing, do you think he could make up for a good trainer? change someone's fighting style like him? make a defensive fighter? could u see him giving advice in corners? do you think he can train a fighter from prospect-contender-champion?

Just because you're an excellent fighter doesn't always translate you into an excellent trainer. Anything we could say on this subject would be mere speculation and opinion. That said I doubt he'd make a great trainer because I don't think he'd commit to it as much as he commits to training himself. He'd probably retire and want to enjoy his wealth, and he has earned that right.

His knowledge of the sport is vast at the least. Knowledge isn't the only thing that can make you a good trainer though.

I don't think he would want to. For some reason the best fighters don't always make the best trainers. Freddie roach wasn't the best boxer but he sure is a damn good trainer!

I think hes too good to be a trainer. No one will ever be able to do what he does, so i dont think that would work out. Same reason Michael Jordan wouldnt be able to coach, they are too good and i believe would expect too much out of anyone.
