Not talking about the pressure fighters who can be outboxed, but the fighters who have the exact style to beat any type of fighter.

Not just normal pressure like the pressure a guy like Margarito gives. Not that kind of pressure... the ENDLESS, FAST, MULTI-FACETED pressure attack that could defeat a great boxer-puncher (ie. Mayweather). Controlled relentless pressure, with a great variety of damaging shots and a great chin with remarkable stamina.

Seems to me pressure fighters like that are a VERY rare breed these days (b/c it's so ****ing tough to fight that kind of fight), and even in the old days only a handful (Frazier and Qawi for example) were of that breed.

Are they a rare breed? What say YOU?

There never were any type of pressure fighters like that. Or fighters, period.

Obviously every style has a big weakness. And obviously other factors, like the chin for example, play a certain role.

But some boxers have the style to beat any kind of fighter. Some pressure fighters can beat any sort of style. Some boxer punchers can beat any type of style.

Well, I honestly think that Cotto could beat most/all guys out there if he was a little sturdier.

Yup. If he could take a little more punishment.

Oh - I thought you meant his build.

He can sure dish it out, and can take it. I'd like to see him in with Cintron. I think he would batter him, but Cintron is a monster puncher.

Last night's fight again proved that Cintron needs a pretty large amount of room to be truly effective with his power. He's not a Nigel Benn, Julian Jackson kind of puncher who can tap you on the chin at whatever range and put you out. He has to be on the outside to really hurt a guy. I'm thinking Cotto knocks the guy out in 9.

I didn't even watch the card. It was a showtime car I assume, correct?
