    Forrest-Mayorga III?

Vernon Forrest was on ESPN2 after his Baldomir victory, and he said that he'd love a rematch with Mayorga- granted that he gets past Vargas.

The fight seems to make sense for both guys. Vernon can have the chance to redeem his lone defeats, and Mayorga really doesn't have that many options.

    Should this fight happen?

It should. Mayorga can only really get that fight. He'd be hard pressed to get another big fight. I think it's a no brainer he fights Vernon. And ultimately get his ass kicked.

I wouldn't mind seeing it. It would be a decent fight to make for the 154 lb division.

For real. The division is so wide open, they might as well.

Hard pressed? Dude is probably one of the biggest legitimate draws by himself, and always entertaining, he has many options. I dont think Vernon wants any part of him, he could still pop at 164, hes a beast at lower weights

Thats what I think. Everyone will want to face Mayorga now, as if they didnt already.

This would be the big money fight for Mayorga and the chance get that belt back.

I can't see Mayorga fighting at Welter again.
