I think Mayorga can beat guys like Alfonso Gomez, Andre Berto and Carlos Quintana, **** even Zab Judah, he can also beat Baldomir, Simms, Hatton(I know the **** riders are going to sound off for this one) and many more, he may not beat the elite guys but he can hand a few prospects their asses and also a few B+ fighters as well.. I just think Ricky is too small and if Collazo had him hurt to the point of a KO at times then Mayorga can rock him..

The Baldo that fought tonight would get his head knocked off. Same goes for Berto (no defense), Marg (slow as can be), and Gomez. Zab could easily get caught, but one of the most talented out there so id give him a chance. Mayorga wins another world title in '08. He showed he could still pop at 164, imagine him at his ideal weight. He also took some clean shots, dude is a beast, and not too many are going to be willing to mix it up, but hes a proven draw and money maker, so he'll get his fights. I mean, i think he could easily take Sturm's belt if he wanted that too at 160.

Oscar is one of the best fighters of this generation, no shame in that, but even he said he hasnt gotten over that.

lolz the sike was only for Hatton, I DO feel he can beat the other guys, Hatton may be small and all but I don't think Ricardo can deal with the body shots, he's big but he is too brave, he will engage with Hatton in a way where even a small dude like Hatton can tear him up, Hatton is no joke, if Floyd wasn't so skilled I would pick Hatton to win but the skills is what separates Floyd from Ricky, by light years, which is why I say Floyd will beat him but I think Ricky can KO someone who will sit there and **** with him, Floyd ain't that dude.. 100

Yeah I know I agree that Mayorga can win some fights and give some people trouble but 'trouble' lacks definition in this case because he may give someone a hard fight yet still have really no chance of winning.

It just depends on who he is fighting.

Believe it or not Ive heard Mayorga say he is good friends with Zab. He said he wouldnt want to fight him b/c he could never make 147 again. At 154 like or not Mayorga is STILL dangerous. That extra 20lb Vargas had on him helped him soak up some shots.
