This figh is a perfect example of how little attention is paid to the sport by oh so many. Everyone and their mother was predicting a quick KO, either based on having never heard of Feliciano or seeing early exits on his record courtesy of BoxRec.
Most of Feliciano's losses and troubles came when he was starving himself to make 140. He's a much better fighter at 147, a lesson Alfonso Gomez learned in their post-Contender rubber match, and also a lesson highly touted prospect Delvin Rodriguez learned the hard way, after punching himself out and leaving his chin exposed long enough to get KTFO earlier this year.
Kermit SHOULD win and by KO, make no mistakne about it. But anyone expecting a cakewalk simply didn't do their homework (and that includes Kermit, Steward and Main Events)
