I went three rounds with my coach last night and I'm getting a nice shiner from that. I'm not a doctor but getting hit in the face repeatedly, even lightly, causes bruising and swelling in my experience.

Different styles have different outcomes, Rickys style means he will get it more. To do that for 40+ without a loss says a lot for his calibre.

Don't get me wrong, floyd is AMAZING, but his style is less courageous, therefore he won't get marked as much.
